You can find me at " AccuAir Suspension "

Well it's been a long time since my last post.  A real long time.  In fact last time you heard from me I was working for Air Lift Company.  It's not like they were a bad company to work for, they are great people.  Don't get me wrong, they make good bolt in air suspension kits.

I just needed something different.  I needed something that would change my own outlook on air suspension and AccuAir Suspension did just that.  What do I mean by different?  Well having installed air suspension on vehicles for 13+ years, and literally installing the same products just gets boring.  I was getting tired of it, my passion was lost.  The products weren't improving at all, just more companies coming in and bringing cheaper products.

Before I started working for AccuAir Suspension a few friends of mine had been running AccuAir's E-Level system and bragging up a storm.  What is the E-Level system you ask?  It's a auto-leveling height sensor based air management system that offer's three preset ride height's that are repeatable by the push of a button.  The long and short of it is " The AccuAir E-Level system is the only air management system you will ever need.  It's what I would call the adult control system over gauges and switch boxes and definitely over any pressure based digital system that can almost get you there.  It's the only system that you can actually align your vehicle with and not feel that you wasted money after having it done.

I finally got the chance to experience the E-Level system for myself.  The first thing that I noticed was the Touchpad controller.   WOW!!! I thought, it's not just a piece of plastic!!!  I then turned on the ignition and the system came to life and the car went right to it's ride height.

After getting in and out of the vehicle a couple of times I realized it was making small adjustments.  This was brilliant!!!  If it correct's for my weight how will it react to big weight changes???  So I loaded the car with a bunch weight and within seconds a car that was sagging was at perfect ride height.  (Not sure if many of you reader's know this but AccuAir Suspension is the only company that offer's a auto leveling feature that actually works...)

All playing aside I had to drive it.  The first thing I noticed is I wasn't wasting my time looking at useless pressure gauges.  Then I noticed myself actually enjoying the drive.  I kept thinking to myself, why haven't I had to do anything to the system?  Is it possible that AccuAir created a product that literally anyone can use? Like anyone.........   I mean I did have fun with all of the years of switch boxes and digital controllers.  Plus the gauges that were accurate 66% of the time, all of the time.  But to actually be able to drive a vehicle with aftermarket air suspension and feel that it could have been factory installed is priceless...

Ok that's enough advertising for one post.  Well I'll just add this.  If you love bagged cars and really just want to be able to enjoy driving AccuAir is your air management company.  If your like some of my customers and you have to share a vehicle with someone like your wife again AccuAir is your company.  The E-Level system is the closest thing to a factory installed air management system ever.

Thanks for reading and until next time,

Jesse

Air Lift Drift's???

That's right Air Lift drifts.  They also do all kinds of other things with air suspension.  But they drift?!, with air ride?  Why yes sir they do! They also drag race, road race, haul kids around, pick up groceries, drive over speed bumps, pick up girls, girls impress boys, and actually give you the ability to pull into any driveway. Sounds almost unreal.

Well over the weekend Air Lift was given the opportunity to impress some very important people in the industry.  After a few weeks of emails and phone calls it was all set.  We had a car supplied by  Gary Shellum who was more than happy to let us use his 2010 Camaro to do some light testing.  With a competent driver like Leigh Guarnieri behind the wheel and having a fun spot like Adam's Motorsports Park at our disposal.  We all knew it was going to be an interesting evening.

After everyone got to take a ride around the track a few times in the Camaro, I wasn't hearing the typical "yeah I figured it would ride like that,  that's definitely air ride." etc...  It was more like a " WHAT!!! That's air suspension?  I never would have known!"  With raving reviews from our rider's I just wanted to scream!!!  Hello world, we are Air Lift Company and we come to take your coils!!!

After mentally releasing my screams, we let a couple of the rider's play around with the car. With Leigh giving pointers in the passenger seat, we knew we would see great results.  It's one of those you have to see it to believe it things, but then when you see it you have to feel it to make sure it's really real. You know what I mean?.  Anyway after some hot laps were taken by other drivers, it became a reality to me.  Air suspension really is the future.  I've been to the track with our cars multiple times, I've seen the data from our engineers at the track.  Now I am witnessing these individuals that have been sleeping with the enemy for years, looking at air suspension likes it's a new love affair.

Just pay attention to the name Air Lift Company.  They've been around for years and they are about to be around for many more.  They are baggin cars and taken names, and you can expect to see the name Air Lift Company on tracks all over the world in the years to come.

The Bagged Life Movement

It's been around the car show seen for years. Up until a few years ago it was just for show. The ability to lay your ride on the ground with the push of a button was key for that hammered show look.

With the changes in materials and builds over the years our generation is getting the chance to witness a new era in air suspension. With everyone wanting to get everything out of one vehicle,
Air Lift is offering air suspension solutions that will cover just about everything.

With companies like Air Lift around, conquering new roads and squashing all urban legends associated with air suspension is what they do best. Leading the industry with tow and load control systems for over 60 years. Air Lift Company, got their start in stock car racing. You heard me right, I said racing.

Now with an engineering team that I would consider to be the equivalent of an all star basketball team, in the suspension industry. This team has already given us a 2010 Camaro with +1g cornering on stock tires that averaged 157mph for 90 miles. A 2011 Mustang with +1.34g's of cornering force. Volkswagon's that lay their under carriage's on the ground to get a rest, and get up and cruise on demand.

These guy's are providing us with the tools to build a proper car. It's all about practicality these days, form and function right? I love my car's, and want to treat them with the respect they deserve. So instead of bombing around on coils that can't get you into your girls driveway, or even through the grocery store parking lot. Go air and become not only your girl's hero, become your car's hero.

Bagged Life

I live a "Bagged Life". I know there are many of you out there that can say the same. I love to be low, and I prefer to be practical while doing it. I've also lived the life of a static guy. The 10 point turns into parking lots. Knowing which roads and which lanes were safe to drive on. You know, the price you have to pay to play. Well not any more!

I saw the light, it was shining down on me! It spoke to me and said, "There has to be a better way...". The next day a fleshy tattooed white knight entered my shop by the name of Sir Corey Rosser. He was spreading the knowledge of air suspension across the land!!!

Well enough of that. With the changes in today's technology, air suspension has been rewriting the books. Not only is it practical in everyday driving, it helps you actually enjoy your vehicle.

There are many more benefits to air suspension then just the jaw dropping, earth scraping stance, you get with the simple push of a button. You can finally take the same car to the track, pick up the groceries, take your girl and her little bro to the movies, and safely let her drive home. All this with no worries of blowing out your body kit, or blasting your oil pan into a million piece's.

I am lucky enough to have the privilege to work for a great leader in the air suspension industry. They were able to turn a hardcore coil lovin corner carvin junkie, into a hardcore bag lovin coil carvin junkie. I finally had all my egg's in one basket. One suspension that did it all, and did it all with the push of a button.

Air Lift is jumping into the air suspension market with more than just 60 years of knowledge, and an engineering team with a racing history longer than a roll of TP. They are jumping in with the pride and passion it takes to build a no holds barred, all in one suspension solution.

Keep your eye on what changed my life. It was Air Lift Company, not only can I drive over speed bumps now. I have the confidence in knowing I can pull into any driveway, cross any intersection, drive down any road!!! Sleep at night knowing when I wake up the next morning, all I have to do is hit that button and a whole new day in the world of bagged life begins.

Air Lift will be releasing Audi kit's in March!!!

That's right, this coming March, Air Lift Company will be releasing their long awaited Audi line. With the growing popularity of air suspension in the automotive aftermarket, Air Lift has clawed their way to the top.

Being known for the amazing ride and handling of their Mk2-3 and Mk5 VW kits, I can only imagine what's to come of the new Audi line of air suspension. Being one of the only fully engineered air suspension kit's on the market, Air Lift has topped the scales with coil-over handling and a show winning stance.

You can expect to see plenty more from Air Lift Company, in the days to come. If it's not setting speed and track records in air suspended vehicle's, it's designing some of the world's best load control systems on the market today. With over 60 years in the air suspension industry you can always expect Air Lift, to be the leader in everything air suspension.

Air Lift Company has Universal Struts!!!

Well yes, actually they do. It seems not to many people know this. When I was a shop owner I was asked plenty of times to put air suspension on cars, that kits weren't available for. After turning away so much business I needed to find a solution. Air Lift Company was my answer.

They have a full line of universal struts, fronts and rears. Sleeves and Bellows, also different lengths and valving. With all the different options the skies the limit on available applications. No more need to turn customers away when you have a kit for everyone.

Well last fall I was asked to fit a Lexus LS460 for E Shift Performance, located in Cliffwood Beach, NJ.

Not having a bolt on kit available I decided to use Air Lift's "Short Bellow-Over Universal strut Kit #75562" for the front and their "Long Sleeve-Over Universal Strut Kit #75567
" for the rear. To top it off we used Air Lift's Digital AutoPilot, for the air Management kit #27639.

I know it might seem like a tough job building custom struts, but it's not. A lot of shops have the ability to do some pretty basic fab work and that is all you need to build a custom air kit. Having the stock suspension in hand makes it even easier. All you are doing is building an exact replica of the upper and lower mounts. Then taking measurement's of the suspension travel. Once in hand a very straight forward build.

I hope this little bit of info will help steer you in the right direction when doing your next custom build. Shop owner's and builder's don't lose out on a job when you can contact Air Lift and get everything needed. From start to finish, they are there for any air suspension needs.

If you have any questions about Air Lift Products, or using their universal struts, feel free to ask.

These products can be found at www.airliftcompany.com, and through your local or online Air Lift Dealer.
